I am both a painter and woodcut printmaker and use watercolor as the main medium for my work. This allows me to experiment on different surfaces such as gessoed
wood, canvas and metal in addition to paper. Most recently I began using
‘recovered materials’ from recent storms to express my interest in ‘green art.’
I do not limit myself to any one style of work or subject matter. I have won
many awards, earned signature/life status in the Florida Watercolor Society and
have had many one woman shows in museums and the state capitol. One large show
was based on the poetry of Carl Sandburg and I was please to receive a letter
from his daughter complimenting me on the work. Therefore, the collector will
find a variety of images from which to choose.
My father was a medical entomologist assigned to a U.S. government
research team and his work required frequent moves throughout the country and
Mexico. This experience provided me with an unusual opportunity to travel and
learn many different ‘points of view.’ My family settled in Panama City just
before I left for college. I earned a B.S. degree from FSU, married a navy pilot
and began traveling again! After beginning a family of four we returned to raise
our family, teach in public school, earn a degree from troy University and begin
working as an artist. After retirement we traveled extensively: China, Europe,
and the Middle East which extended my chance to study other styles of art,
mostly stained glass designs.
I am very concerned when I work with experimental materials to be
sure that these elements are archival. With this concern, I seal each piece done
on wood, metal or canvas with an acrylic coating to preserve the work. This
practice will ensure the collector of a lasting value for the work.
Jane Segrest
Jane Segrest is an artist and a southerner. Through the years, these singularities have fused to produce a powerful body of work. Perceptions rooted in childhood and the joy of
discovery resonate in her rich and complex paintings.
Segrest's water-based mediums and oils appear in private and corporate collections. Through the use of arbitrary shapes and luminous colors, ordinary subjects find new definition.
Segrest's larger-than-life treatments explore form and detail. Her formal training and willingness to experiment result in paintings that communicate a sense of the exotic, yet
familiar. Segrest's work is provocative and joyous. In her hands, even the most common subject becomes new.

Dustin Bryson
Some success stories aren't told until they're part of the past. Dustin Bryson's story is one that is being shaped and molded now. Whether he's capturing the tranquil vibe of Wedding Day, drowning his lens in a
wave or rockers at a concert, or capturing the honest vulnerability of the human face, Dustin becomes part of the creative process. The end result is the work seen on this site.
Born on August 28, 1974, in San Angelo, Texas, Dustin is committed to Leah, his wife, and is ecstatic over the birth of their first child, Micah. Now 33, he stays busy as a co-owner of the design/marketing company, freshINK.
As well as serving as the Youth Pastor at Eastgate Christian Fellowship.

Heather Parker
My art is a rhythmic communication of lines, shapes, and colors that reflects
my life experiences and interactions with others. Through my art, I create a
dialogue with the world that combines the real world with my imagination.
While my creations on wood and canvas have deep meaning to me, I feel it
is important that my art present itself in an uncomplicated way. That it be
simply stated- with defined use of line, space, and color- the basic elements
of visual communication.
My designs- 2 dimensional paintings, assemblage art, and art furniture- are
strongly influenced by Gustav Klimt, Paul Klee, and Roland Hockett, among
others. The rhythm of my life affects the surface, the colors, the strength,
and the mood of what I create.
All lives are intertwined and your journey becomes part of mine. It is all creative energy.
From inside to outside, from you to me, from me to you, flowing through the world.
